As stated in my first show, I always have one key bullet point from each game, here are my points for this week. The podcast goes in depth on some of the key games from week 14 as well. You should give it a listen.

 

Vikings over Jaguars

• Very defensive game, Vikings must find offense in the stretch run.

Redskins over Eagles

• Carson Wentz just doesn’t have enough talent on the outside to give their offense a chance. Look for a WR in Free Agency and the Draft next off season.

Titans over Broncos

• Douglas is a jerk, but the rest of the offense played well enough to win. Can’t blame the lack of good aerial attack when you are playing the Broncos. This will be a tight race down till the bitter end for the South.

Texans over Colts

• Andrew Luck needs more help from the O-Line and Run game if they want to get back into the playoff race. With only 3 games left, it will be close.

Dolphins over Cardinals

• With Ryan T. out can the Dolphins eek into the playoffs? If Moore can win a game or two, it might not be out of the question. It will also depend on if the Pats rest their starters in week 17.

Lions over Bears

• Have to wonder if the Lions can win any of their final three games with Stafford hurting. Giants next, but then the Cowboys and the Pack. Will this come down to week 17?

Panthers over Chargers

• Have to wonder if San Diego will even be home to the Chargers next year. Will be a sad way out for both the franchise and McCoy who may be fired. Once again another disappointing year for them.

Steelers over Bills

• Game wasn’t as close as the score alludes. A few Big Ben INT’s kept the Bills in it. Tyrod needs O-Line help if the Bills want to expect to win with him at QB. He can run, but shouldn’t have to on every play.

Bengals over Browns

• Looking like the Steelers could be the team the Browns beat. I expect them to beat one of their division rivals. RG3’s return wasn’t pretty, but what did we honestly expect?

Jets over 49ers

• This game shouldn’t have even occurred. Neither team deserved a win, and of course, it went into overtime. This just showed how bad the 49ers are, they should have won it.

Falcons over Rams

• Jeff Fisher lost his job thanks to the Falcons. This wasn’t pretty, but the end result may just be what the Rams needed to turn things around. Falcons looking good even without Julio, but do you really need him vs LA?

Packers over Seahawks

• I didn’t think it would be that bad. They switched the game over to the Bucs mid-broadcast! Seahawks need to generate offense soon or things could get ugly at the end. Can’t rely on your defense to win, especially without Earl Thomas. But his loss can’t be all to blame for the implosion of Seattle.

Buccaneers over Saints

• Bucs defense looks better every single week. If they sneak in, watch out. Next up? A SNF matchup with Dallas. Maybe a statement game??

Giants over Cowboys

• Was very close to switching my pick to the Giants. I should have. Even without JPP this defense can be special. Cowboys looked lame for the second week in a row. They wouldn’t make a QB change…would they?

Patriots over Ravens

• Special Teams almost cost the Pats. It did cost the Ravens. Hester Sr. was waived and the Ravens will look to Campanero to return kicks. With Jimmy Smith out again, can the Ravens survive with Green and Brown coming up soon? Smith needs to be healthy if they want a chance in the dance.

What a game last night guys! I did pick the Chiefs to win mainly for their defense, which of sure saved them in that second half. Allowing only 3 points when your offense hands the ball over to the Raiders deep in your own territory? Phenomenal!
